Today is the day…

Today is the day, it is a BIG day, it is the day in our Nation that sets us apart from the others… Today is Election Day – Regardless of who wins or who Oprah thinks is the best choice, there are a few things that will remain the same…

He is…

El-Shaddai — The God Who is Sufficient for the Needs of His People
Jehovah-Jireh — The Lord our Provider
Jehovah-Shalom — The Lord our Peace
Jehovah-Tsidkenu — The Lord our Righteousness
Jehovah-Eloheenu — The Lord our God

He Is a great King
He Is alive for evermore
He Is Alpha and Omega
He Is for you
He Is God
He Is gracious
He Is holy
He Is merciful
He Is the Almighty God
He Is the bread of life
He Is the first and the last
He Is the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob
He Is the LORD, and there is none else
He Is the LORD in the midst of the earth
He Is the LORD, the God of all flesh
He Is the way, the truth, and the life

He Is thy salvation
He Is thy Savior

Today is a big day. An exciting day, a day in which we will see history in the making, either way, regardless of who Wins, history is made tonight. But, regardless of who wins, there is work to be done, change must happen and the media coverage is far from over. In the midst of it all, my God, El-Shaddai, already knows the outcome, He already knows the changes that will be made, He knows what will succeed and what will fail. Most of all, He already has a plan to provide. Because that is His Name, that is Who He is, and He is everything I stand for.

Thank you Jehovah-Jireh, for love is consuming, your Words are life changing and your peace leaves me breathless. I love you for all that you are, for all you have done and for all you stand for. Thank you for the assurance Your plans bring. Be with those men who have the desire to run our country. Give them the peace that passes all human understanding, the strength to live with the upmost integrity and the wisdom to seek Godly counsel at the cross roads. Be with them today and in the days to come. Amen.
